COPENHAGEN - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday in Copenhagen he had had a constructive and very substantial meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and that they had discussed key directions for bilateral relations, economic cooperation and regional stability.
"We also exchanged views on the main items on the agenda of the European Political Community Summit and addressed priority topics such as stepping up dialogue and diplomatic efforts by all important stakeholders in the international political arena with a view to finding sustainable solutions to current challenges," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.
He noted that Serbia extremely appreciated the cooperation with Germany and was committed to open dialogue and joint projects creating real benefits for citizens of both countries.
"I reiterated that a unified approach and mutual support can further strengthen regional stability and expedite the necessary reforms. I noted that Serbia remains committed to continuing to strengthen the cooperation with Germany, as well as to concrete steps we will take to advance our partnership," Vucic added.
