Vucic, Montenegro discuss cooperation, bilateral relations

COPENHAGEN - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Portuguese PM Luis Montenegro during the European Political Community summit in Copenhagen on Thursday to discuss strengthening of cooperation in cybersecurity and protection of critical infrastructure, as well as the challenges of migration and the need for better coordination among services as part of European formats.

"With PM Montenegro, (a discussion) about the key topics of this year's Summit, as well as preservation of peace and stability on the European continent, energy stability and better connectivity in the region. We exchanged views on strengthening the cooperation in cybersecurity and protection of critical infrastructure, as well as the challenges of migration and the need for better coordination among our services as part of European formats," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile.

Vucic added that special attention had been devoted to Serbia-Portugal bilateral relations.

"I noted that we see space for stepping up political dialogue and strengthening economic cooperation. I am confident that, through joint efforts, we will contribute to deepening the Serbia-Portugal partnership further. Serbia remains a dependable partner to all those advocating peace, prosperity and better life for all European citizens," Vucic also posted.
