Vucic to receive von der Leyen on Wednesday

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will host European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who will be on an official visit to Serbia on Tuesday and Wednesday, the presidential press office announced.

A ceremonial welcome is scheduled for 8.45 am Wednesday and will be followed by a tete-a-tete meeting between Vucic and von der Leyen.

Vucic and von der Leyen are due to speak to reporters at 9.40 am.

Von der Leyen last visited Belgrade in late October 2024 as part of an annual tour of the region.
