Djuric to address UN Security Council session on work of UNMIK

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric will on Tuesday address a regular UN Security Council session on UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres's report on the work of UNMIK, the UN mission in Kosovo-Metohija, in the period from March to September 2025.
Among other matters, Djuric will highlight the significance of UNMIK presence in Kosovo-Metohija for preservation of peace, stability and security in the province, as well as the necessity of continued fulfilment of UNMIK's mandate in line with UNSCR 1244, the Serbian MFA said in a statement.
The most recent UNSC session on the work of UNMIK was held on April 8.
