Vucic congratulates Takaichi on her election as Japan's PM

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Tuesday congratulated

Sanae Takaichi on her election as PM of Japan.

"I extend my warm congratulations to Sanae Takaichi on her election as Prime Minister of Japan. I am confident that her mandate will bring progress to Japan and the region," Vucic posted on X.

"I look forward to further strengthening the friendship between Serbia and Japan, particularly in the areas of the economy, innovation, the green transition and social development, for the benefit of our citizens," he added.
