Brnabic: Good discussion with EPP representatives

BRUSSELS - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic met with the European People's Party (EPP) leadership in Brussels on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Brnabic said it had been very good and in the spirit of dialogue and that she was pleased with it, adding that Serbia's policy and ways of making progress towards EU membership had been discussed.

She said she had met with the EPP representatives as the international secretary of Serbia's ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).

"In principle, those are affairs that have to do with the respective party policies of the EPP and the SNS, so I think they are not particularly important or interesting to our citizens or the wider public, but the discussion was good. It was quite a long discussion in which we examined all topics concerning Serbia's policy and ways of making progress towards the EU," Brnabic said.
