Vucic: EU enlargement summit opportunity for Serbia's voice to be heard

BRUSSELS, Nov 4 (Tanjug) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday a Euronews summit on EU enlargement that he was attending in Brussels was an excellent opportunity for Serbia to again present its views on the EU enlargement policy.

"I am confident our voice will be heard, even though these are difficult and uncertain times not only for the Western Balkan region, but for entire Europe as well," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile.

He said he was grateful to Euronews for its original idea and hospitality and, especially, for an opportunity to openly discuss all challenges faced by countries in the region on the EU path.

Later in the afternoon, Vucic will take part in a session at the summit and also meet with European Council President Antonio Costa and attend a dinner hosted for heads of state and government by EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos.
