BRUSSELS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Peter Sorensen in Brussels on Tuesday.
He confirmed Serbia's commitment to the EU-facilitated dialogue as the only framework that can ensure peace, stability and predictability for all in Kosovo-Metohija.
"We focused on concrete steps and full and consistent implementation of agreements that have already been reached, deescalation on the ground and protection of the rights and security of the Serbs. I especially noted the importance of forming a Community of Serb Municipalities, pursuant to agreements, as the key element of a sustainable solution," Vucic wrote in an Instagram post after the meeting.
He noted that Serbia remained a dependable and constructive partner that was ready for responsible compromise with clear respect for undertaken commitments and the principles of international law.
"I am grateful to EU representatives for their engagement, and we continue contacts to preserve peace and ensure normal life to all our citizens," Vucic posted.
