BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with German FM Johann Wadephul in Belgrade on Monday evening, noting that Germany was one of Serbia's largest and most important partners.
"An open and substantial discussion with Minister Wadephul about further strengthening of our bilateral relations, political dialogue and joint projects of strategic importance. I noted that Serbia attaches exceptional importance to cooperation with Germany, which is one of our largest and most significant partners. We discussed numerous projects, especially in the field of energy and infrastructure," Vucic posted on Instagram.
He thanked Wadephul for Germany's support for Serbia's economic development and reform processes.
"We devoted special attention to Serbia's European path, regional stability and the numerous global challenges we face. I am confident today's meeting will help to further deepen the partnership between Serbia and Germany as well as to continue joint work in fields that are important to both countries," Vucic concluded.
