SUBOTICA - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Hungarian PM Viktor Orban received Istvan Pastor Foundation awards in Subotica on Thursday.
At a City Hall ceremony, Vucic and Orban were presented with the awards by Serbian MP and Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians leader Balint Pastor and his brother Abel, president of the Foundation's executive board.
The Foundation has said Vucic was honoured for his key role in building trust, cooperation and a strategic partnership between the Hungarians and Serbs and that his name was also associated with a historic decision of October 30, 2014 to abolish from the legal system the principle of the Hungarians' collective guilt.
It also honoured Orban for what it said was unerasable and decisive merit in a historic reconciliation between the Hungarians and Serbs, as well as for deepening their good-neighbourly relations and building and strengthening a strategic partnership.
