BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday Serbia would have no problems with gas supplies and that he expected a short-term gas agreement with Russia to be signed soon, and added that there would be no problems with gas supplies until the summer.
"Serbia will have no problems with gas. We expect to sign a short-term agreement soon. We will definitely have no problems whatsoever with gas until the summer, and that is good news for the citizens," Vucic told Pink TV, noting that gas would be available at favourable prices.
He added that Serbia would be trying to obtain more gas quantities from various sides.
"I do not think there can be any problems when it comes to electricity and gas," Vucic noted.
He said the fact the US had extended an operating licence for some of Lukoil's international operations until April 26 was another good news for the citizens as the company had 112 petrol stations in Serbia.
