Macut receives team of Chinese Institute of Basic Research in Clinical Medicine

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Djuro Macut met on Wednesday with a research team of the Chinese Institute of Basic Research in Clinical Medicine, which operates as part of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, to discuss the clinical practice and research progress of traditional Chinese medicine.

The parties highlighted "the importance of exchanging scientific knowledge and experiences that can contribute to the development of innovative methods in the prevention and treatment of various health conditions," a government statement said.

"Special attention was devoted to future joint projects that would connect traditional therapeutic models with conventional medicine in order to strengthen public health.

Both sides expressed their willingness to continue advancing the partnership in the field of medicine and health research," it said.
