Dacic receives delegation of Chinese Ministry of Public Security

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic received on Wednesday a delegation of the Media Centre of the Chinese Ministry of Public Security.

"Dacic said that contemporary security challenges require fast and efficient communication with the public, assessing that the visit of the delegation represents an exceptional opportunity for the exchange of experiences and good practices in this area," a government statement said.

The parties highlighted the steely friendship between Serbia and China, based on the friendly relationship between Presidents Aleksandar Vucic and Xi Jinping, as well as mutual support on issues representing the top strategic interests.

"The visit of the Chinese delegation and the talks on public relations between the two ministries also represent an incentive for further strengthening of intensive cooperation, which contributes to an even stronger improvement of the partnership between the two countries, it was assessed at the meeting," the statement also said.
