BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said on Friday President Aleksandar Vucic was well familiar with all documents related to Serbia's oil company NIS - which is under US sanctions due to its Russian majority ownership - and that she believed he would make a public address following Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement about a Serbian-Russian inter-state agreement.
Responding to a question from reporters at a press conference in the parliament building, Brnabic said she would not interfere in matters she did not know enough about, but that she believed Vucic had examined all NIS-related agreements, contracts and documents "well and in detail."
She added that none of the documents could change the present situation regarding NIS.
"What I do know is that President Aleksandar Vucic has examined, well and in detail, all agreements, all contracts and all documents that have to do with this - and I think no one in Serbia has doubts about that - but none of them are applicable to the present situation," Brnabic said.
