BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received a farewell visit from Ukrainian Ambassador Volodymyr Tolkach on Tuesday, noting that, in an open and fair discussion, they had exchanged views on current international affairs and bilateral relations between Serbia and Ukraine.
In an Instagram post, Vucic noted that he had reiterated that Serbia consistently respected the principles of international law and the UN Charter and remained committed to preservation of peace and stability while maintaining a responsible and balanced approach amid complex geopolitical circumstances.
"I thanked the ambassador for his engagement during his term and for his cooperation with institutions of the Republic of Serbia, with best wishes for his further professional work, and the confidence that relations between Serbia and Ukraine will continue to develop to the benefit of our citizens in the coming period as well," Vucic posted.
