BELGRADE - Serbian PM Djuro Macut met with Serbian Ambassador to Greece Nikola Nedeljkovic on Monday to discuss overall Serbia-Greece relations.
The meeting addressed Macut's recent successful visit to Greece, as well as "preparations that will serve as an introduction to a session of the high council for cooperation and the strengthening of the economic council, which is expected to be formed next year," the government press office said in a statement.
"The Prime Minister underlined that the implementation of previously agreed projects during official interstate visits was discussed.
Nedeljkovic informed the Prime Minister about plans for next year, which will mark 110 years since the landing of the Serbian army on Corfu. He also said that a conference of cities from the two countries, as well as the expansion of cooperation in the field of energy, are planned for next year.
Special attention was paid to the increase in the number of Serbian tourists in Greece and Greek tourists in Serbia, that is, the creation of the best possible tourist conditions that will accompany the increase in visits by citizens of the two countries," it also said.
