Vucic visits Mrkonjici Spiritual Centre

MRKONJIC - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic visited on Monday the Spiritual Centre in the village of Mrkonjici, Republika Srpska, the birthplace of Saint Vasilije of Tvrdos and Ostrog.

The construction of the Centre is co-funded by the Serbian government.

"We will continue to help and we will always be with the people of Republika Srpska," Vucic said after the visit.

Vucic was greeted by Metropolitan of Zahumlje and Herzegovina and the Littoral Dimitrije, the Serb member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Zeljka Cvijanovic, Alliance of Independent Social Democrats leader Milorad Dodik and Trebinje Mayor Mirko Curic.

Earlier in the day, Vucic arrived in Mostar, where he was welcomed by Cvijanovic.

He will also attend the opening ceremony at a hospital in Trebinje as part of Republika Srpska Day (January 9) celebrations.
