Vucic arrives in Abu Dhabi on visit to UAE

ABU DHABI - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic arrived in Abu Dhabi on Monday on a visit to the UAE, where he will attend the opening ceremony of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026.

Vucic was greeted at the airport by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, adviser to UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the visit to Abu Dhabi, Vucic will meet with the UAE president, who is the event's host.

Vucic schedule also includes attendance at a panel on partnership and cooperation in energy, as well as at the Zayed Sustainability Prize ceremony.

Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week is a global initiative launched to showcase leading advances and current trends in technology, energy, education and artificial intelligence as part of sustainable development.

Its 2026 edition will be held from January 11 through 15, bringing together global leaders at public forums and exclusive events.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for January 13.
