Kozarev, Israeli ambassador discuss cooperation, current international issues

BELGRADE - Secretary General at the Serbian MFA Dusan Kozarev met with Israeli Ambassador to Belgrade Avivit Bar-Ilan on Monday to discuss further strengthening of bilateral cooperation, as well as current international issues.
"Recalling the traditionally good relations between the Serbian and Jewish peoples, Kozarev and Ambassador Bar-Ilan expressed satisfaction with the stable and solid relations between the two countries and with cooperation that continues to advance across numerous fields. Particular emphasis was placed on economic cooperation, cooperation in the field of defence, as well as increasingly dynamic ties in the areas of culture and sport," the MFA said in a statement.
"The interlocutors also discussed planned activities in the period ahead, and in that context the Secretary General noted that he is looking forward to participating in the artificial intelligence conference EducAITION 2026, to be organized next month in Jerusalem by the Ministry of Education of the State of Israel.
Cooperation between the two ministries of foreign affairs was also reviewed, with both sides jointly underscoring the importance of holding regular bilateral political consultations," it also said.
