Petkovic, Gori discuss situation in Kosovo-Metohija, progress of Belgrade-Pristina dialogue

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic met with Italian Ambassador to Belgrade Luca Gori on Monday to discuss the political and security situation in the autonomous province of Kosovo-Metohija and the course of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

In an Instagram post, Petkovic wrote that they had exchanged views on substantial topics of mutual interest to Serbia and Italy.

"I thanked his excellency for Italy's understanding for Serbia's position on many issues, to which President Aleksandar Vucic's exceptional relationship with the Italian PM, Ms Giorgia Meloni, has also contributed to a great extent," Petkovic noted.
