Vucic: Very good discussion with Kos about current topics in Serbia-EU relations

DAVOS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday he had had a very good discussion with EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos in Davos about current topics in Serbia-EU relations, focusing on reform commitments and energy security.

"The focus was on reform commitments, strengthening of rule of law and institutions, advancement of the investment environment, better connectivity through infrastructure, as well as energy security and transition," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.

He noted that they had also discussed ways to accelerate economic convergence through European instruments and the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans and open up additional development possibilities for the economy and young people.

"I especially noted that, for Serbia, in a time of growing divisions, it is important to preserve the spirit of dialogue in the region and in Europe, because that is the only sustainable path to solving outstanding issues, preserving peace and creating the conditions for long-term progress," Vucic posted.
