Djuric, Saygili discuss potential for cooperation between Serbia, Turkey

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric met with Turkish Ambassador to Belgrade Ilhan Saygili on Friday to discuss the potential for cooperation in areas of mutual interest, in particular, in the ICT sector.
In a statement, the Serbian MFA said Djuric and Saygili had discussed the most important issues in the domain of bilateral relations.
They also touched upon the recent second meeting of the Balkans Peace Platform in Istanbul, and Djuric noted that the meetings were an opportunity for discussions on advancement of cooperation in the Balkans, economic possibilities, as well as on connectivity in the region, and noted that they were important at bilateral and multilateral level alike.
They also discussed issues related to further dynamics of political dialogue between the two countries and also exchanged views on the potential for cooperation in areas of mutual interest, the statement said.
