"I was pleased to note that Serbia-Japan economic cooperation is developing year by year through growing goods trade, an increasing inflow of investments by Japanese companies, especially in the automotive industry, projects in the energy and the environmental protection sectors, as well as through significant financial and technical support, which makes Japan Serbia's second-largest bilateral donor," Vucic posted.

He added that the ambassador had conveyed to him a message from Japanese Emperor Naruhito, who thanked him for visiting Japan in 2025 for the Serbian National Day at the Osaka EXPO and expressed hope for further advancement of bilateral relations.
