DUBAI - Serbian PM Djuro Macut met with Georgia's PM Irakli Kobahidze and FM Maka Bochorishvili on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit (WGS) in Dubai on Wednesday to discuss advancement of Serbia-Georgia bilateral cooperation and mutual support in international organisations.
The parties noted the significance of strengthening political dialogue as well as of cooperation in the economy, culture and tourism, with special emphasis on connecting the economies and experience-sharing, the Serbian government said in a statement.
Macut invited Georgia, which is considered the cradle of winemaking, to take part in the Wine Vision event.
The Georgian delegation expressed the hope Serbia would open an embassy in Georgia in the near future as the move would further contribute to strengthening of overall bilateral relations.
The meeting was also attended by Serbia's Ambassador to the UAE Vladimir Maric.
