Brnabic, new UNMIK head discuss situation in Kosovo-Metohija

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic met with new UNMIK head Peter Due in Belgrade on Thursday to discuss the security situation in Kosovo-Metohija, UNMIK's role and respect for UNSCR 1244.

"We continue open communication and constructive cooperation, with the aim of protecting the rights of Serbs and preserving security on the ground," Brnabic said in a statement released by the National Assembly of Serbia.

Earlier in the day, Due also met with Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic and the head of the government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic.
