Modi confident Serbia-India ties will gain even more momentum

NEW DELHI - Indian PM Narendra Modi said on Wednesday he had met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi to discuss deepening of bilateral cooperation in several areas, and expressed the confidence the bilateral ties would "gain even more momentum" in the future.

"We discussed ways to deepen cooperation in areas such as defence, manufacturing, DPI, fertilisers and infrastructure," Modi wrote in a Serbian-language post on X.

"For many years, India and Serbia have worked closely and I am confident our ties will gain even more momentum in the times to come," he concluded.

Vucic and Modi met in Modi's New Delhi residence earlier in the day.
