Vucic to meet with EDF chairman on Friday

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will meet with the chairman and CEO of the French power company EDF Bernard Fontana in Belgrade on Friday.

The meeting in the building of the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic is scheduled for 9 am, the presidential press office has announced in a statement.

Two days ago, at a panel held as part of the 2nd Nuclear Energy Summit in Paris - also attended by Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic - Fontana said international cooperation, efficiency and financial stability were key for the nuclear power sector, and especially welcomed the presence of Serbia, which recently joined the European nuclear power circle.
