BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic hosted a dinner for members of Kobre ("Cobras") - a Serbian Armed Forces special anti-terrorist unit in charge of the security of top state and military officials - on Sunday evening, thanking them for the loyalty, commitment and strength they were demonstrating at all times.
"It is nice to sit down from time to time with the people who are always there with me, silently, in a responsible manner, without saying too much and doing one of the toughest jobs. A dinner with the lads from the 'Cobras' was an opportunity for us to talk as humans, in a relaxed and sincere manner, about everything we are going through together," Vucic posted on Instagram.
He said the Kobre members were top-level professionals and, above all, good and dependable people that carried a great burden and enormous responsibility on a daily basis.
"I know how much self-sacrifice their job requires and that is why I respect them even more. I thank them for the loyalty, commitment and strength they demonstrate at all times. With people like these, one knows that he is not alone," Vucic wrote in the post.
