BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday evening Pristina's PM Albin Kurti would visit French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday to make two requests, including a withdrawal of KFOR troops from the Ground Safety Zone (GSZ) in the north of the Kosovo-Metohija province.

Vucic pleaded with all world leaders not to back Kurti's requests and to support KFOR in continuing its role.

"Kurti will go there with two requests. In total, he has four topics and two requests. One is that the French set conditions for us regarding how we will use our weapons, so that they can never be used against Albanians, and his second request is very dangerous - that NATO leaves the Ground Safety Zone in the north and that France supports that, so that they (Pristina) can deploy the so-called Kosovo security forces in the Ground Safety Zone," he said on Prva TV.

He said he hoped no one in NATO had any intention of supporting such a request, and added that he was certain Macron would not back it.

"That would be a direct attack on peace, a direct attack on our population, a direct attack on entire Serbia. I believe it will not happen - I am almost certain. I do not know what Macron's agenda is, but I do know what Kurti's agenda is," Vucic said, adding that Serbia had its people in Kurti's surroundings.

Vucic: Pristina-Tirana-Zagreb military alliance the most dangerous move

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday evening one country's order to Pristina, Tirana and Zagreb to form a military alliance was the most dangerous move by Belgrade's opponents in the past year as it was aimed directly against Serbia.

"I knew what was under preparation, they formed a military alliance. Zagreb would never have agreed had an order not come - I will not say what country it came from," Vucic said on Prva TV.

He added that the alliance reflected a strategic and tactical direction for an attack on Serbia.

"The Croats are accustomed to being with those who bomb Belgrade, like they did on April 6 (1941)," Vucic said.

"They kept saying it is about cooperation in military technology but, in fact, a military alliance was formed," he said, adding that he had received no answer whenever he had asked why that was the case.

Vucic noted that this was a signal to Serbia that it must work on its security.

"Because they know we will not attack anyone, they know that we are a peaceful and freedom-loving nation, but I know that, as soon as they get an opportunity - like I said about what (Pristina PM Albin) Kurti's agenda is going to be - they will attack Serbia," he said.

Vucic: I would like Orban to win, accusations against Szijjarto unfounded, stupid

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday evening accusations against Hungarian FM Peter Szijjarto that he had allegedly betrayed his country were unfounded and stupid, and noted that, however the situation might end, he would like Viktor Orban to win the upcoming elections in Hungary.

"Szijjarto has been accused of betraying his country because he spoke with (Russian FM Sergey) Lavrov after EU sessions he attended and informed him. That is what the Washington Post reported - have you ever heard an accusation that is more stupid than that? Imagine this - he spoke with someone and told them what had happened at a summit or a meeting. Countless times, I have spoken with Orban, (Greek PM Kyriakos) Mitsotakis, (Turkish President Recep Tayyip) Erdogan, (Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart) Tokayev about what had taken place. Can you imagine an accusation that is more stupid, what is secret about that?" Vucic said on Prva TV.

What else is to be talked about other than what had taken place at meetings, he asked.

He added that, however the situation might end, he would like to see Orban win the Hungarian elections.

"I would like Viktor to win, but I have never heard a more stupid accusation in my life, whatever the outcome of the elections is," Vucic said.
