ALGIERS - Wrapping up a two-day official trip to Algeria, Serbian PM Djuro Macut visited one of Africa's main religious and architectural landmarks, Djamaa el Djazair - the Grand Mosque of Algiers.
Opened in 2019, it is one of the largest mosques in the world and a symbol of Algeria's contemporary identity.
Macut was welcomed by the mosque's Rector Mohamed Maamoune Al Kacimi Al Houceini.
At the end of the visit to Algeria, Macut and a Serbian delegation were seen off by Algerian PM Sifi Ghrieb and government ministers with full state honours.
