BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Iranian Ambassador to Belgrade Mohammad Sadegh Fazli on Monday, and noted that finding a peaceful solution was enormously important for entire humanity in order to avert a catastrophe of unprecedented proportions.
Vucic said Serbia supported a peaceful solution with respect for the UN Charter and the territorial integrity and the inviolability of the borders of all countries, the presidential press office said in a statement.
Fazli informed Vucic of the current situation, noting that Tehran did not want the war to spread and was seeking diplomatic ways of achieving peace.
