Zigmanov: We will respect any decision on elections

BELGRADE - Speaking to reporters after consultations with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Democratic Alliance of Croats in Vojvodina Tomislav Zigmanov said on Tuesday his party would respect any decision on potential early elections in Serbia and that it had an interest in the matter being resolved to the benefit of the citizens and towards stability.

"We expressed an interest in the matter of whether there will be elections being resolved to the benefit of the citizens and towards social peace, stability of the political system and normal functioning of all democratic institutions. Whatever the decision is, we will respect it. In case early parliamentary elections are called, we will participate, as a party that has to date expressed, and demonstrated in action, our commitment to political participation of national minorities," Zigmanov said.
