Vucic receives credentials of new Moroccan ambassador to Belgrade

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received the credentials of new Moroccan Ambassador to Belgrade Omar Amrar on Thursday.

"I expressed the confidence that, with his engagement, he will help to lend a new impetus to advancement of cooperation between our countries, which are traditionally connected by friendly relations based on mutual respect and understanding," Vucic posted on Instagram.

He thanked Morocco for its principled position on respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia and noted the significance of such support in the international arena.

"I confirmed our readiness to intensify political dialogue further and advance economic cooperation, especially in the fields of trade, agriculture, tourism and investments," Vucic added.

He noted that he was confident there was significant space to boost and diversify bilateral trade and urged an acceleration of procedures to enable major bilateral agreements to take effect.

Vucic receives credentials of five non-resident ambassadors

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received the credentials of five non-resident ambassadors on Thursday - Ambassador Hamoud Al Tuwaih of Oman, Ambassador Juan Manuel Pino Vasquez of Chile, Ambassador Yacouba Diakite of Mali, Ambassador Pa Musa Jobarteh of Gambia and Ambassador Joseph Nzabamwita of Rwanda.

"I received the credentials of ambassadors representing their countries on a non-resident basis, with whom I discussed bilateral cooperation, the foreign policy priorities of our country, the situation in the region, as well as international relations," Vucic posted on Instagram.

Wishing the ambassadors success during their tenures, Vucic said he was confident political dialogue and cooperation with Serbia would continue to develop to mutual benefit.
