Macut, Pirc Musar discuss advancement of bilateral cooperation

ANTALYA - Serbian PM Djuro Macut met with Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum on Friday to discuss advancement of bilateral cooperation and the region's EU path.

Pirc Musar said the cooperation was on a high level and that Serbia was one of Slovenia's main partners, and added that economic relations were very good.

She noted that Slovenia would continue to support Serbia's EU accession.

Macut said more frequent meetings and stronger institutional cooperation, including joint sessions of the two governments, were needed.

He noted that the Western Balkans remained a priority and that it was important to advance regional cooperation further.

Macut invited Pirc Musar to visit Belgrade, and accepted an invitation to visit Slovenia.

The meeting was also attended by Serbian Ambassador to Ankara Aca Jovanovic.
