ANTALYA  - Serbian FM Marko Djuric said on Friday in Antalya, Turkey, where he is attending the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, that Serbia was a part of the solution in the Balkans - rather than a part of the problem - and noted that the goal of Serbia's participation in the forum was to present the region as a region of opportunity, cooperation and success, as well to demonstrate that Serbia was a factor of stability and open to dialogue and cooperation.

Speaking to Serbian reporters, Djuric said a Serbian delegation headed by PM Djuro Macut aimed to present the Western Balkans in full glory, as a region of opportunity, cooperation and success in an era when Europe and the world witnessed various crises.

"In our region, also through the Balkan Peace Initiative, whose session we expect tomorrow, we are working on building a stable environment that will be different from the one we have become accustomed to in the past decades. That will not be easy, in view of the problems we have, inherited problems of political nature, inter-ethnic relations, various political tensions but, for our region, there is no other path to success than opening up, creating conditions for free movement of goods, capital, services and people," Djuric said.
