Vucic, Magyar discuss key topics for advancement of Serbia-Hungary relations

BELGRADE- Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke with Hungary's prospective PM Peter Magyar on Tuesday.

"I congratulated Peter Magyar on the election win. We had an important, good and substantial discussion about key topics for further advancement of overall Serbia-Hungary relations," Vucic posted on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account after the discussion with Magyar.

"We also discussed some of the key energy issues and other issues that are significant for further development of the relations between our countries, stable development, more secure supplies and stronger regional ties," Vucic wrote in the post.

He added that they had exchanged views on the positions of the Serb and Hungarian minorities in Hungary and Serbia, respectively, as well as on Serbia's EU path.

"I extended an invitation to Peter Magyar to visit Serbia," Vucic noted.
