Dacic, Dendias meet in Athens

ATHENS - Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic met with Greek Minister of National Defence Nikolaos Dendias in Athens on Friday to discuss possibilities for advancement of comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of security.

The ministers agreed that "intensifying the exchange of visits at the high and highest levels is of particular importance for better understanding and deepening bilateral relations between the two countries," the Serbian government said in a statement.

"During the meeting, which was also attended by the Police Director, Police General Dragan Vasiljevic, it was noted that the cooperation between Serbia and Greece is based on traditionally fraternal and friendly ties between the two peoples," it also said.
