KRAGUJEVAC - US Charge d'Affaires in Serbia Alexander Titolo said on Thursday the launch a new supercomputer, solar panels and Modules 3 and 4 at the State Data Centre in Kragujevac, central Serbia, was a strong confirmation of a new era in US-Serbia relations and opened up new possibilities for researchers and startups as well as for quicker and smarter solutions in various fields.
"We celebrate what we can achieve in a synthesis of American innovation and Serbian ambition. By launching a second supercomputer with NVIDIA technology in Kragujevac, we are not only introducing new technology, but building a shared vision for the future," Titolo said at the launch, also attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
New possibilities are the essence of this investment, Titolo said.
"It means stronger support for researchers, new possibilities for startups and quicker, smarter solutions in areas such as health care, energy and transport," he said.
Titolo noted that a US-Serbia partnership in the tech sector was already producing real results.
