Vucic thanks Slovakia for supporting Serbia's territorial integrity

BAKU - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Slovak PM and Minister of Environment Tomas Taraba in Baku on Monday and thanked Slovakia for its principled support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, as well as for backing Serbia's EU path.
"With Tomas Taraba, I discussed further strengthening of Serbia-Slovakia relations, as well as opportunities for advancement of cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, environmental protection, energy and sustainable urban development," Vucic posted on Instagram after meeting with Taraba at the 13th World Urban Forum in the Azerbaijani capital.
He added that he had conveyed an invitation to Slovak PM Robert Fico to visit Serbia. "I am confident that, in the coming period, we will further strengthen our political and economic ties and carry out major joint projects," Vucic noted.
Vucic meets with Slovak deputy PM in Baku
BAKU - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Slovak Deputy PM Tomas Taraba on the sidelines of the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF) in Baku on Monday.
Earlier, Vucic attended the WUF opening ceremony at the Baku Congress Centre.
He will address the central part of the forum, to be attended by heads of state and government.
WUF 2026, which ends on May 22, will bring together more than 41,000 participants from 180 countries, including heads of state and government, ministers, mayors, business leaders, academics and civil society representatives.
