US nominates Michael Young as its ambassador to Serbia

WASHINGTON - The US has nominated Michael Young as its ambassador to Serbia, according to the White House website.

"Michael Young, of Utah, (nominated) to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Serbia," the website said.

Along with the nominations of candidates for ambassadorial posts in other countries, Young's nomination had been sent to the US Senate, it said.
