SOFIA - Serbian PM Djuro Macut will attend a South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) summit in Sofia, Bulgaria, on Wednesday.
The summit will bring together top state and government officials of countries of the region, as well as representatives of regional organisations.
"This year’s Summit is being held under the slogan A Shared Compass for a Stable, Secure and Sustainable Region - 30 Years of Regional Commitment and European Aspiration", the Serbian government has announced in a statement.
"The Summit will look at the possibilities for improving regional cooperation, economic connectivity, security, sustainable development and joint response to the challenges faced by countries of South-East Europe," it also said.
The summit will also be attended by Bulgarian President Iliana Iotova, Turkish FM Hakan Fidan, Greek FM Giorgos Gerapetritis, Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar, Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic, North Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova and Albanian President Bajram Begaj, as well as by other top officials of countries of the region.
Macut will also have bilateral meetings with European officials.
