BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday all people who came to a June 27 gathering outside the Serbian parliament building in central Belgrade would be given a piece of paper on which they would be able to choose five out of 15 topics as the most important issues to be addressed by the authorities.

In video posted on his Instagram account, Vucic said the paper also included blank space for everyone to write down their own remarks and what was troubling them.

"I have now received something that is very important. A ballot - not a real election ballot, but a very important ballot. Everyone who comes to the gathering will have an opportunity to get a paper like this one with 15 important topics, of which everyone can encircle five to indicate that those are the most important things they want from the authorities," Vucic said.

He said the list of topics would include greater care for people, preservation of peace and stability, the fight to preserve Kosovo-Metohija, improvement of health care services, better education, higher pensions, lower medicine prices, energy security and greater investments in culture and environmental protection.

Vucic also announced that an internet portal named "Ko si bre ti" ("Who do you think you are") would be launched next week as another opportunity for citizens to report problems with arrogant public servants in local communities, at city and national level, or at any other level.

"All these things that we are doing we are doing for the people of Serbia, and the people of Serbia must see the results of that work," he noted.
