Patriarch Porfirije, US pastor Burns arrive in Visoki Decani

VISOKI DECANI - Serbian Patriarch Porfirije and Pastor Mark Burns, spiritual adviser to US President Donald Trump, arrived at the Serbian Orthodox monastery of Visoki Decani in Kosovo-Metohija on Monday.

At the monastery gates, Patriarch Porfirije and Pastor Burns were greeted by Metropolitan Teodosije of Raska and Prizren and Archimandrite Sava and the monastery's brotherhood.

After a ceremonial welcome, Patriarch Porfirije and Pastor Burns bowed to the remains of Holy King Stefan of Decani and Archimandrite Sava informed the guests of the rich history of the monastery, which is inscribed in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.

The Serbian patriarch and the US pastor arrived in Kosovo-Metohija on Sunday, when they visited the Patriarchate of Pec.
