BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starovic received Irish Ambassador to Belgrade Kevin Colgan on Wednesday to discuss the priorities of Ireland's Council of the EU presidency, the continuation of Serbia’s European integration process and opportunities for improving bilateral cooperation.
Ireland assumed the rotating presidency on July 1.
"Starovic underscored Serbia’s commitment to implementing reforms on its European path," a government statement said.
"Colgan stressed that Ireland will be dedicated to strengthening the unity of the European Union and continuing support to candidate countries in their reform processes during its presidency," it said.
