Djuric, OSCE secretary general discuss cooperation, situation in Kosovo-Metohija

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric met on Monday in Belgrade with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu to discuss further cooperation with the OSCE, the situation in Kosovo-Metohija, as well as current regional and global issues.
Djuric noted that Serbia maintained good cooperation and intensive dialogue with OSCE institutions, and thanked the OSCE for the support provided to Serbia in the reform process and on its path to full EU membership, the Serbian MFA said in a statement.
The minister especially noted the significance of the activities of an OSCE mission in Kosovo-Metohija and highlighted its important role in human rights protection and advancement of interethnic dialogue.
The parties also discussed the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, and Djuric noted Serbia's commitment to dialogue, expressing the hope the conditions would soon be in place for a continuation of the dialogue at high level, as well as for implementation of reached agreements.
Speaking about the region, Djuric noted that regional cooperation was one of Serbia's foreign policy priorities and that preservation of peace and stability in the region was its key interest.
