Vucic, Tajani discuss current European and regional affairs, Serbia-Italy relations

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke by phone on Monday with Italian Deputy PM and FM Antonio Tajani about current European and regional affairs, Serbia-Italy relations and opportunities for advancing them further.

"We exchanged views on Serbia's European integration process, continued reforms and Italy's role in that process, as well as on strengthening further the partnership between our countries in areas of mutual interest," Vucic posted on Instagram.

He added that he had thanked Italy for its consistent and principled position on Serbia's European perspective and expressed the belief that the two countries, through mutual respect and constant communication, would continue to develop their relations to the benefit of the citizens of Serbia and Italy.
