BELGRADE - Serbian PM Djuro Macut met with German Ambassador to Belgrade Anke Konrad on Monday to discuss advancement of bilateral relations, economic cooperation and continued partnership between the two countries.
Macut said Germany was one of Serbia's most significant external trade partners and one of the top foreign investors in the country, and noted that maintaining stable and predictable cooperation was exceptionally important for economic development and further strengthening of economic ties, the Serbian government said in a statement.
The parties also discussed opportunities for advancement of cooperation in the economy, the energy sector, education, science, innovation and digitalisation, and agreed that there was significant space for implementing new joint projects.
Macut reiterated his government's commitment to continuing the cooperation with Germany in all areas of mutual interest, the statement said.
