Gasic meets with Prince Aviation, Textron Aviation Defense representatives

BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic met on Thursday in Belgrade with Prince Aviation and Textron Aviation Defense representatives to discuss opportunities for strengthening cooperation and developing the capabilities of the defence system.

"Minister Gasic noted that the Ministry of Defence attaches great importance to cooperation with aviation industry companies as such form of partnership contributes to the enhancement of capabilities and professional expertise.

He said that investing in personnel training, the exchange of experience, and the development of new capabilities is a key prerequisite for the continued modernization and enhancement of operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces," the MoD said in a statement.

"During the meeting, the participants considered various modalities of cooperation, as well as opportunities to implement projects of importance to the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.

Also attending the meeting were Alexander Titolo, Charge d'Affaires at the US Embassy Belgrade, representatives of Textron Aviation Defense - George F Sanchez and Robert Gibbs, Djordje Petkovic, a representative of Prince Aviation, Acting Assistant Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradovic, and the Chief of Staff to the Minister of Defence, Brig Gen Nikola Matovic," the statement also said.
