Vucic congratulates Burnham on becoming UK's new PM

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Monday congratulated Andy Burnham on becoming the UK's new PM and expressed the confidence that, by working together, they would continue to strengthen the Serbia-UK relations.

"At a time of significant global challenges and change, I wish you every success in carrying out this important responsibility and in making decisions in the best interest of your citizens," Vucic posted on X, extending heartfelt congratulations to Burnham.

"I am confident that, by working together, we will continue to strengthen relations between Serbia and the United Kingdom, based on the principles of mutual respect, dialogue and cooperation for the benefit of our peoples," he added.
