Dacic meets with Russian ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic met with Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko on Wednesday, noting that the two countries maintained active political dialogue based on years-long friendship and successful bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

Dacic especially expressed deep gratitude to Russia for its strong and consistent support for the preservation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.

Dacic and Botsan-Kharchenko noted the significance of bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, such as the fight against organised crime and all other forms of crime and cooperation regarding emergencies, the statement said.
